About this campaign
Vincent and I have teamed up with Lynn. She is the founder of Rockstar Cocker Rescue. I always said that Vincent was the gift that keeps on giving and he is still giving. Even though he is no longer here, Vincent's image has raised thousands of dollars for different organizations. So please let's help Rockstar Cocker Rescue.
I have been rescued and been rescuing cockers for 35 years now. My hubby and I found our first child and love in a shelter in Phoenix, AZ and from there it just kept going! I was a volunteer and a big part of Shorewood Cocker Rescue for 8 years after adopting our first cocker directly from a rescue in 2004. After several rounds of hard work saving many cockers while the rescues took advantage of my work I started Rockstar Cocker Rescue late 2017. We have been going strong the last 5 years and are the go to group in the upper Midwest region now. Sadly, a lot of rescues are retiring out and we see many all breed rescues trying to understand the breed.
Anyway.......if you have not been to our website or facebook, I welcome you to check us out! This year alone we have been taking in cockers in clusters or groupings larger than 4 each time. Sadly, the Amish find cockers are still a money maker with the puppies, but they are slowly realizing that with the State of IL shutting down sales points that they are left holding a lot of "inventory". We have taken in double luxating patella dogs, dogs missing eyes and ear flaps, and completely feral dogs that we hope to work into a loving home. Many badly need dentals amongst the usual bad ears. We have seen Cushings, Addisons, and Diabetes Insipidus this year. Doodles are all the rage and along with them are the cockapoo mixed dogs. We can't get ahead of it but will save as many as we can!

I've had cockers for more than 30 years and adore the breed.
It is an excellent group. I get my cockers from them.
