The Official GOPA 2025 Maintenance Scholarship Fundraiser Shirt

The Grumman Owners and Pilots Association maintenance technician scholarship program is designed for students seeking to attain their Airframe and Powerplant or equivalent approved Aviation Mechanic Certificate/License base on country of origin. Scholarships are valued up to $2500 and are based on available annual funds. This scholarship is intended for an in-person attendance school having a fall, spring, or summer similar class admission or schedule. Other programs will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an approved aviation accredited tuition base program and have completed at least one semester of school like, or similar to the following.

• USA Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) 147 school
•A University Aviation Maintenance Technician Program
• UK Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Program
• European EASA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Program
• A Canadian AME program

Candidates may be from any country up to the age of twenty-five at time of application. A GOPA member or relation to a GOPA member in good standing will have first priority in receiving a scholarship award; however, this scholarship is open to all qualified candidates who apply. Application Candidates must submit their applications and supporting documents from the website at https://grummanpilots.org/scholarship no earlier than July 1st and by August 1st of each year.
The scholarship recipients will be notified approximately September 1st of the given year whether or not they have been selected.
