Many of our country’s wounded soldiers face numerous obstacles to full participation in life. America’s VetDogs is a non-profit organization that was created to provide enhanced mobility and renewed independence to United States veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities, allowing them to once again live with pride and self-reliance. America’s VetDogs was founded by the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, Inc. in 2003.

To raise funds and awareness, the University of Scranton’s Occupational Therapy Graduate Students have been raising money in honor of America’s VetDogs all year. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the American VetDog.

At the University of Scranton, the occupational therapy graduate students spend all year fundraising to become a puppy sponsor. A puppy sponsor has the opportunity to name a puppy and contribute to costs associated with breeding, raising, and veterinary care. In order to do this, we must make a $6,000 contribution.

Our goal is to raise enough money to sponsor a puppy! The profits of all fundraising events, including this clothing sale, will be donated to VetDogs in the name of "The University of Scranton OT Grads '24." We hope to provide someone with access to a service dog to help them thrive and live more independently!
