About this campaign

On November 26th, the Voice Slam fundraiser will take place. It will be at Austin College, from 6:30 to 8:30. Various students will give poetry slam performances. The venue will be at Mabee Hall.

All proceeds will go towards the Texoma Arts and Mentoring Program. This nonprofit was founded by Sholdon Daniels. Their mission statement is: "...to give local youth a solid foundation for success by providing them with access to instruments, equipment, instruction, mentors & live performance opportunities that enhance their lives and build their self-esteem."

$3 before the event
$5 at the door.
A t-shirt is free admission.

The event will be done by Xi Epsilon and Mentors in Violence Protection.

Xi Epsilon is chartered at Austin College. We aim to provide service to the Sherman-Denison area. Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) promotes a comprehensive approach to violence prevention and high-risk behavior. MVP engages students through awareness, education and bystander intervention skills practice.

Together, Xi Epsilon and MVP wish to help the Texoma Arts and Mentoring Program achieve their mission.
