I'm a Vietnam Veteran who served in the 68th Assault Helicopter Company from June 1967 thru June 1968, during the Tet Offensive.
Oahu was the site of my honeymoon to a Vietnam Veteran-happiest time of our lives. He died from his wounds received on the battlefield
As a Vietnam Marine I always remember a fellow Vietnam Marine, a boyhood friend of mine in Columbus, NE, Larry Langan who perished in Vietnam in the spring of 1967.
My brother, PFC Jon R Woodard, is on the wall
It’s important to me to support the purpose of the memorial wall because of the sacrifice our men and women gave in support of our country. In honor of my brothers and husband who served during the Vietnam campaign.
As a Vietnam Veteran, I have visited the Wall in D.C. and know first hand the Healing Power the wall has. I highly recommend ALL Vietnam Veterans, Family, and Friends visit the Wall while in Oahu. Mahalo.
