Because the fate of being wrongly convicted and incarcerated is too awful for so many people to have to bear
Because of personal experience with self, family and friends, I've realized how unjust our justice system is and how people can be charged and arrested on mere statements with no evidence. If it can happen to us, it's happening to others.
