About this campaign

This fundraiser is to not only honor all suicide victims and their loved ones, but victims of bullying and harassment. By supporting Mckenna, you will be donating to a suicide charity. The fundraiser will end 1 day after Mckenna's birthday (September 6).

Mckenna Elizabeth Brown was a 16 year old senior at East Lake High School. She was a daughter, a sister, a follower of Jesus, a friend, a teammate, and a gift. Mckenna was a ray of sunshine who gave life to everyone she came in contact with. She helped others in so many different ways, but unfortunately suffered in silence. Mckenna was an undeserved victim of bullying. East Lake has done nothing in her honor, but that will not stop her classmates, friends, and family from taking action. She left to be in a better place, but she shouldn’t have had to leave to be able to have that peace and comfort she deserved

So saddened by this news. My wife coached McKenna on flag football at East Lake and said she was such a competitive ray of sunshine on the field with the tenacity to learn and get better! Our prayers are with the family!
