There's No Equity In Racism, Let's Dismantle Institutional and Structed Racism with Social Justice

Im alicia dorsey family community advocate. To be somebody in this world i have to fight for that right to be me. I also fight for Our traumatized families and community members in North and Northwest Philadelphia where we don’t feel we have a voice in our communities or the policies governing us. Debunking myths that we don’t want anything in life adds to our trauma, because we feel that we always have to prove ourselves to everyone. We carry the weight of being on our own with little support in our broken homes and no support from our government. We are in desperate need of caring programs for our families at recreation centers, along with quality education and career paths facilities that we can walk to, affordable housing that includes fresh meats, fruits and vegetables access. Our youth have nothing to do in most communities other than roam the streets and find something good or bad to get into. Grassroots organizations like Social Justice Stops The Violence, are looking for ways to stop the violence in our communities and believe in community care of our community.
