About this campaign
TJ had requested a "shield" tshirt. I finally had time to work one out after work on Tuesday. I created the tshirt campaign and launched it yesterday evening. I had "tagged" TJ in the launch on facebook. I was eagerly waiting to hear what he thought of the design...I checked my phone one last time before I went to bed to see if he had seen the design yet...nothing yet. David told me at 630am the next morning about the tragic accident TJ had...it took awhile for me to even realize I was awake and this had actually happened. At some point my mind recalled the design I had made for him the night before. I debated on whether I should just cancel the entire thing. Then folks started responding and commenting about making the design a tribute to TJ. Even though TJ didn't graduate from Central...he was SO involved with all things Central. I didn't think it was odd at all when he requested a "shield" throwback design. TJ was a Raider. He served on the school board, was always hollaring for whatever Raider game he was attending. He didn't have kids competing...TJ just came to support the Raiders because he loved being a part of Raider Nation. TJ married a Central grad (Sheena Fraley Prater) is how he ever came to be here in Burden. THANK YOU Sheena for bringing TJ into our lives...he lived a passionate life...and we are a better community for having known TJ Prater. God Bless the Prater Family. ALL proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to Sheena Fraley Prater.
