Myositis Awareness Month is May 1-31, 2024. Help inform the public about myositis by ordering a bandana for your dog, cat, reptile, or other pet! At TMA, we know your family includes your beloved furry, scaly, and feathered friends. Now, your whole family can help raise awareness about these rare diseases.

The mission of The Myositis Association (TMA) is to improve the lives of persons affected by myositis, fund innovative research, and increase myositis awareness and advocacy.

During the TMA Empowerment Clinic about "Raising Myositis Awareness while Preserving Your Energy," TMA Board member Chip Galloway suggested a bandana for pooches... and a "Cutest MyoMutt Contest!"
Email tma@myositis.org with a photo of your pet displaying the TMA bandana by June 30, 2024. All animals are welcome, the contest is not restricted to dogs only. Up to three winners will be chosen to receive a special prize package with TMA and myositis swag.

As a myositis patient, it has been challenging to connect with other patients locally and I have a history with the dog caregivers for homebound. We are giving away dog scarves to dog walkers.
