What is American Cancer Society Denim Day®? The American Cancer Society Denim Day® brings people together nationally to help free the world from the pain and suffering of breast cancer. Tamanend staff members donate money to wear jeans to work on Friday, 10/4/19. This day also marks our annual TMS PINK OUT. We invite all of our students to join us in wearing pink or purchasing a TMS Denim Day shirt. Money raised from this t-shirt sale will support the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives from breast cancer. Since Denim Day began in 1996, participants have raised more than $95 million to help save lives from breast cancer. Donations will help the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking breast cancer research; provide free, comprehensive information and support to those touched by breast cancer; and help people take steps to reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it's most treatable.
