About this campaign

Purchasing and wearing your "Equal Pay For Those Who Stay" shirt shows your support for teachers in the TRSU who have stayed throughout the years. We believe equal pay for equal experience is a common sense request. Each purchase adds a small monetary contribution to support our efforts. You don't need to be a teacher to purchase or wear these, please share the link and purchase one for the whole family! Currently, new hires in the TRSU are paid more for their work experience from teaching at other locations than existing hires with similar experience. We believe committed individuals that have stuck around deserve equal pay compared to their newly hired colleagues. If you support this position please consider purchasing a shirt, and/or getting involved to voice your concern by reaching out to your school board representative(s) and letting them you know you support "equal pay for those who stay"! For any questions or further dialogue needed you can reach out to Brett Mastrangelo or any teacher at your local building.
