About this campaign
We are the True Believers! This means that we truly believe that there is a cure out there for multiple myeloma! Adam was diagnosed with this rare blood cancer 3 years ago, and although he's doing great, we are still doing everything in our power to support the research needed to find a cure. On April 26, 2020, we are again walking in a charitable 5K in South Boston to support the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) and as usual, we will be rockin' our True Believers gear. This year we have a t-shirt and 2 new hoodies for sale, and Custom Ink agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds to our MMRF team! Please consider buying one of these to wear to the walk or at home so you can show us that there are True Believers everywhere!
Over the past 2 years, we have participated in the MMRF 5K in South Boston to raise funds towards a cure for multiple myeloma. We are so proud to say that we have raised $35,000 so far and we are back at it again this year. Each year, the fundraising becomes more difficult and we continue to think of creative ways to raise as much possible. We need that cure for Adam and all others with multiple myeloma. Lost my father to this disease 37 years ago.
My father was diagnosed almost 3 years ago. He has had ups and down including a stem cell transplant, a recent hip replacement and lots of chemo.
My dear sister-in-law is in remission thankfully, a business colleague passed away.
