About this campaign

Tying Up Cancer , a not for profit organization that sells friendship bracelets to raise funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research is putting on this campaign. Profits from the sale of the shirts will be used for pediatric cancer research and you can help spread awareness!

All funds raised will be sent to Tying Up Cancer.

Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

Please contact Molly Bogolin with any questions you have.

Cancer is the leading cause of death of kids in the US. 7 kids die of cancer every day. 1 in 300 boys and 1 in 333 girls will get cancer before they reach the age of 20.

1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer will not survive.

More than 2/3rds of survivors face long-term side effects in the form of secondary cancers, heart and lung conditions, hearing and eyesight problems.... the list is endless. Aggressive pediatric cancers are only getting more common, with their incidence up 29% in the past 20 years. And treatment for pediatric cancers is not advancing like it is for many other types of cancers. Pediatric patients are usually treated with adult chemotherapy, even though pediatric cancers behave differently than cancers faced mainly by adults.

Tying Up Cancer works to raise awareness for pediatric cancer so that we can help provide funds to research new treatments. We also raise money through the sale of friendship bracelets. Recently we started "The Tuclet Initiative" which provides bracelets to cancer patients, showing them our support. We welcome you to join us on any of these endeavors by purchasing a bracelet or volunteering. We are strictly volunteer and donation based so that every penny donated goes directly to fund pediatric cancer research.

We know the facts, and now you do too. Our only question is, will you use that knowledge to do good, or turn the other cheek? We hope you are moved as we are by young children fearlessly facing cancer. Thanks to Booster, when you purchase a shirt any profits we make will be donated to pediatric cancer research, just as with our bracelets. The more we sell, the more money we will raise with each shirt, so we encourage you to tell your friends! We hope wearing this shirt will help you spread the word about pediatric cancer and the funding it deserves.
