Tyronza Volunteer Fire Department

According to the Volunteer Fire Council,  there were 81 on-duty firefighter fatalities in the United States in 2011.  Of those 81 death, 48 were attributed to heart attack or stroke.  That's nearly 60%!  That means over half of all firefighter fatalities could be prevented with regular exercise and a proper diet.  This is a statistic that has to change.  We at Tyronza Volunteer Fire Department are making a commitment to a healthier lifestyle, but we need your help!  Our current exercise facility, located above our meeting room at the fire department, is not the most ideal place to exercise.  It is not enclosed or insulated, which means it is very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter.  In addition, our current exercise equipment is run down and reaching the end of its useful life.  As you may or may not know, funds for a volunteer fire department, especially one of our size, are very limited.  That's where you come in!  With your donation of $25 (plus $5 shipping), you can help our firefighters stay fit and healthy so we can better serve the community!  Plus you get a pretty SWEET t-shirt!  How can you beat that?
