UCI Law Pit Crew Fundraiser

Approximately 5,500 dogs are euthanized in shelters across America every day. In Southern California, pit bulls and pit mixes make up approximately 30% of the shelter population and are subject to breed-specific laws, insurance restrictions, and other difficulties that can prevent their owners from being able to keep them. Our event will target low-income neighborhoods that are affected by these policies to try to slow the growing population of unwanted pit bulls. In addition to vaccination and sterilization services, we will offer training tips and owner support services to try to help those who already own pit bulls keep their best friends happy, healthy, and in compliance with the law. The money raised through this campaign will help our chapter of SALDF put on this event, in conjunction with our non-profit partners. The dogs thank you for your support!
