About this campaign
The group Pataki: A Religion Through Myths and Legends invites you to support and form part of The Orisha Project. The Orisha Project will collect translate and publish actual Kariocha Itas from priests and priestess of the Orishas in order to compile the most comprehensive interpretation of the diloggun ever published. Your donation will allow us to bring this project to fruition and share the results with the Orisha community. You can also participate by providing copies of Itas to be included no names will be disclosed and you can submit Itas anonymously.
El grupo Pataki: Una religión a través de los mitos y leyendas los invita a dar soporte y forma parte del proyecto Orisha. El Proyecto Orisha recogerá,traducira y publicar Itas de Kariocha de sacerdotes y sacerdotisas de los Orishas para compilar la interpretación más amplia del diloggun que haya sido publicada. Su donación nos permitirá llevar este proyecto a buen término y compartir los resultados con la comunidad Orisha. In knowledge, there is strength! Our religion & our youth (tomorrow's santeros) are beautiful; however, they are of a "book knowledge" generation & not so much into blind faith. In order for this to come to fruition, more info needs to b available.
As a storyteller, I totally support this project. It is most important for not only the families/children who listen to the Pataki, but to all humanity since we all have our stories to tell and share.
For my Cousin
my ancestors work hard to leave a path open for me to continue their journey and thats what I'm going to do.
