Uganda Mission 2024

Hello Dear Friends & Family!

I wanted to take a moment to share about an exciting way God is moving in my life. For as long as I can remember, I have found great joy in serving others. Most often, this service has come in the form of food! Then, at church on New Years Eve in 2023, I asked Jesus to show me what he wanted for me & how he could use me as a tool to glorify HIM. The entire service was about being a light to others in a world that is often so dark. It was at that exact moment, I felt called upon by Jesus to shine my light in the form of service on a Mission Trip!

Shortly thereafter, that I started to research and quickly learned that the light of God is vastly needed by God’s children in Africa. Specifically, the female population. Thinking about how blessed my own children have been and continue to be, it broke my whole heart to learn that young girls & women in Africa are without basic everyday necessities such as hygiene products to include feminine products. The lack of feminine products has a long-term detrimental impact to these girls and women’s educations as without them, they are unable to attend school during their cycles which ultimately causes them to miss a significant amount of school month over month.

This service does not come without a cost and the cost to serve in Africa for ten days is significant, so I am asking for your compassionate support. Should your heart feel compelled, please consider sending a financial contribution to Venmo. No donation is too small as every dollar counts towards my $6,000 goal. These contributions will go towards building a new school and provide every-day essentials to the young girls and women of the African communities we are supporting so that they may attend school regularly.
