About this campaign
Honor the fallen. Carry the weight. Join the Southern Strike Battalion ROTC program for our 7th Annual 9/11 Ruck to Remember. 9.11 miles, free to all. On September 12, 2026, the Southern Strike Battalion will host our 7th Annual 9/11 Ruck to Remember — a 9.11-mile ruck march through Coral Gables in honor of the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the men and women who answered the call to serve in the years that followed. This year marks the 25th anniversary of September 11th.

Working at a NJ school, we knew some students’ parents would not be picking them up that day. Later, some friends straggled home to Harrison, NJ across the river covered in soot, speechless, and forever changed by what they experienced.
