This shirt was designed to represent the April's Sexual Assault Awareness Month campaign. This April; we want to keep the momentum of the #MeToo movement going by ending the silence around sexual harassment and assault. The theme, Embrace Your Voice, calls on individuals to challenge the status quo to bring about real and lasting change.

Your contribution to NSVRC helps support our work to end sexual violence and makes a positive impact on the lives of survivors across the country. NSVRC works to address the causes and impact of sexual violence through collaboration, prevention efforts, and the distribution of resources. With your help, we’re working toward a world free of sexual violence.

-Provide emergency funds to survivors and programs impacted by natural disasters

Because if all of these things would have been true in my past, I wouldn't have to be a survivor in the first place.

I am a victim, turned survivor, turned advocate. The support I received during my own struggle brought me to my current career as an inpatient counselor specializing in suicide, trauma, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
University of Alaska Fairbanks is supporting this campaign as a part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. SAAM staff and volunteers are excited to wear these shirts and show their support throughout April.
