About this campaign
We have been recently presented with an adoption match for our family! We are thrilled beyond belief! We have just finished our home study and within a week have received that phone call that every adoptive family waits for... "There is a little girl... And she is coming into the world a few days before Christmas". Our hearts have said yes and our family is gearing up towards an amazingly fast adoption! This means that all our best efforts and plans to save and work extra over the next year have gone out the window! We need help to accomplish this adoption in record time and we are believing for a Christmas miracle! We are currently needing twelve thousand dollars to make this happen. We indeed covet your prayers in this miracle season! We have reopened our T-shirt campaign but there is also a direct link to donations. We appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time to let us share our story.
About ten years ago there were seeds planted in our hearts that have since begun to grow. These seeds were planted during a special season of working in full time ministry as intercessory missionaries. During this time Kurt was gaining revelation of the Father's heart for him as he was mentored and part of a team that spoke on adoption and the calling of walking out James 1:27 through adoption. Katchen was working in the prayer room praying over pregnant mothers and interceding for their babies in the womb. During this time a deep love for the unborn was established & a love for intercession of calling forth Life and destiny over these little ones became an important part of her call as a mother and an intercessor.
Today as our family has grown we are feeling the merging of these two life lessons learned over a decade ago. It is our desire to adopt a baby domestically. We understand the great undertaking that this task entails and are excited to see how the Lord will work out all the details. We are coveting your prayers at this time as our family embarks on our calling to call forth Life over the unborn in America and to move forward with all the details of adoption.
The message that was created on our t-shirts are more than just a fundraiser. The American flag represents our desire to adopt domestically and the words written on the stripes of the flag represent the word "Life" in all different languages. As we pursue this adoption we are pursuing God's heart to speak Life to the unborn and to call forth a destiny of every baby created in the image of God.
