About this campaign

Chopin Running Mates need your help. We are raising funds to aid our students to be more active, fit and healthy. We are hoping to repair the playground and add more outdoor space for our athletic teams.

Chopin Elementary school is 108 years old and has no green space for students to play outside. Our only playground is old and falling apart. Our older students only have a concrete field to play sports on during recess. We are hoping to raise enough money to get them both repaired. Chopin has partnered with Chicago Run to help students begin to love running, to be healthier, stronger and more active. Through this partnership our students run in several 5k races throughout the city and help raise money for other great causes. We need a space to run free here at Chopin.
