How we got started ... Wild at Heart was founded by Missy in 2012 and has become a very successful and well known wildlife rehabilitation center in Mississippi. God has called Missy to care for His wildlife. From a very young age, she has had the knowledge to care for many species. She is self taught for the most part, but also has attended many hours of wildlife rehabilitation training over the years. Partnerships ... Along the way we have built many partnerships and value the repor we have developed with State and Federal agencies, local law enforcement, IMMS and the list goes on. We couldn't do what we do without the assistance of many agencies. We do appreciate their dedication and their assistance. More about us ... We are a 501(c)3 non profit. All donations made to us are tax deductible. We are blessed to care for the amazing wildlife indigenous to Mississippi. There are many ways you can help.
