For the weeks of 3/2-3/12 WMHS is hosting our very first wish weeks! All of the money raised goes into granting wishes for students like Logan, our wish kid! Logan’s Bio: At 6 months old, Logan had his first seizure, which lasted two and a half hours. For the next two years, seizures became a heartbreaking monthly reality for us. After trying five different medications without success, Logan underwent genetic testing and was diagnosed with an SCN1A mutation, also known as Dravet Syndrome. Today, he has multiple seizures every day, and they come in many forms. As he grows, the seizures change in appearance and can be triggered by things like window screens, excitement, fatigue, and warm temperatures. In 2022, he had a Vagus Nerve Stimulator implanted, which has greatly improved his quality of life. Logan came up with the idea of Disney World after watching a documentary about it. He absolutely loves Toy Story, and meeting those characters would fill him with a joy we can’t even measure. Logan is about to begin a new trial medication that will require many hospital visits and procedures. Logan loves tractors and donuts, as seed featured in this design! Thank you for your support!
