About this campaign

West Sylvan Middle School is working with a non profit group called Don't Give up Signs. This group was formed in Newberg to bring awareness to suicide and to help aide in its prevention. https://dontgiveupsigns.com
Students want to sell sweatshirts with positive messages, their goal is to help make people happy as well as raise funds for things like college field trips and the annual M.E.Ch.A. conference.

M.E.Ch.A. is a student union focused on activism and community involvement. The West Sylvan M.E.Ch.A. chapter is one of only 4 middle school chapters in the state.The goal of this project is to provide a simple message to people which is "You Matter" or "Vales Mucho" in Spanish. Imagine you are having a horrible day, then you just happen to walk by someone with a shirt that simply says "You Matter"... That would bring a smile to someone's face, change someones day, or it could potentially save a life. Such a simple yet impactful thing.https://youtu.be/aiBeSzKMl4c
