About this campaign

EPW is a non-partisan organization formed to address equal rights issues for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex and asexual individuals, and everyone else on the rainbow spectrum, (LGBTQIA+) from a local Greater Prince William County perspective.

We are committed to maintaining an organization that reflects the diversity of the Greater Prince William community, and building relationships with business and civic groups, community leaders, and our elected leadership. We believe in the value and beauty of all humans, and we are here to amplify the voices of those who have been historically marginalized, diminished and dismissed.

What does it mean to support Equality Prince William? What it means, is that you agree that the LGBTQIA+ community in Prince William County and the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park, needs a voice. It means that you support our efforts to make PWC a more welcoming, more diverse, more inclusive place to live and work. It means that you appreciate the efforts that EPW makes on behalf of the LGBTQIA+ community. It means that you feel that the dollars represented by your support will be well spent by EPW on behalf of those we are fighting for. We don’t seek special privileges – only equality for all. We believe that the LGBTQIA+ community voices need to be amplified and uplifted in Prince William County and the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park. We hope our community will come out to support our efforts to make PWC a more welcoming, more diverse, more inclusive place to live and work. The LGBTQIA+ youth of PWC need to see that their county will support them and protect them.
