About this campaign
Siblings Allie and Steve Zoski are training for the first-ever Star Wars Half Marathon in Disneyland, California. As membersof The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training (TNT), they are fundraising to promote the most cutting-edge cancer research and assist families facing expensive cancer treatments. Blood cancers such as lymphoma, myeloma, and leukemia—the deadliest disease killer of children, affect a new person every four minutes (every ten minutes, someone dies). Allie and Steve are fundraising for their family and friends who have faced cancer. They hold their family members battling cancerclose to their hearts, and especially remember theirneighbor, Mr. Jim, who died in 2000 because of blood cancer.
