Proud to be Asian American #StopAsianHate

“It is everyone’s responsibility to speak out against violence and racism in order to create a safer, more inclusive world. Through this campaign, I hope to bring awareness to the types of racism that AAPI individuals face, including my own personal experiences. Just because your AAPI loved one, friend, neighbor or coworker isn’t saying anything, it doesn't mean that they haven’t experienced something like this before.”

It’s an Honor Just to be Asian.

“This is a sad and frightening time for our community. East West Players stands united with other organizations who are fighting anti-Asian hate and serving and advocating for the victims of anti-Asian violence. Hundreds have reached out and asked us to reopen our t-shirt campaign, so that they can wear a visible symbol of defiance against bigotry and unified pride. T-shirts aren't enough. But if we can use them to help fund efforts to protect our vulnerable individuals and communities, we will do so.”

Unapologetically Me (Not Your Model Minority)

“I am choosing to support Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Asian Law Caucus (ALC) because AAPI legal representation is more important now than ever before. AAPIs must no longer be excluded from conversations about equality, diversity, and policy reformation in the United States. Through your generous help, Asian Americans Advancing Justice - ALC will not only be able to amplify AAPI voices among our communities, but also advance their programs regarding Anti-Asian Hate, Immigration and Immigrant Rights, Legal Advocacy, Media Diversity, Voting Rights, and much, much more. Thank you for your support!”

Ali & Jenni: Working for Awareness

Ali Schindler and Jenni Chapman, known on Instagram as Ali & Jenni, are determined to use their powers for good. The San Francisco Bay-area couple works as advocates for LBGTQIA+ and Autism rights and representation. They ran a t-shirt fundraiser on the Custom Ink Fundraising platform to benefit the Marsha P. Johnson Institute that works to defend and protect the lives of Black trans people.

Black Theatre Matters

In search of a creative solution to help make sure they stay in business, one theatre, America’s oldest producing Black theatre the historic Karamu House, found a way for their community to support them and publicly show that support at the same time through a t-shirt fundraiser.

Because of Them We Can

Since its inception during Black History Month six years ago, Because of Them We Can has evolved into a movement to celebrate Black history and excellence all year long. Founder Eunique Jones Gibson turned to the Custom Ink Fundraising platform to make the organization’s first t-shirts to both get the word out and raise funds to get started.
