Overall the printing experience was good with fast turnaround times and high-quality art printing, just wish we had chosen a different product option. However, it was still very cost effective.

I've used Custom Ink several times in the past and generally had good experiences. There were always a few minor things that could have been improved, but overall the group ordering process was convenient since everyone could select their own size, pay individually, and submit their own order. Unfortunately, something has changed. After this most recent order, I won't be using them again. I estimated the number of shirts we would need, but our group ended up ordering more than expected. In previous years, that either lowered our price or resulted in a refund or credit. This time, however, I was charged over $100 more than the actual cost, and Custom Ink kept the difference. When the order arrived, there wasn't even an inventory list showing who ordered what—just 60 shirts in boxes. That made distribution unnecessarily difficult. I contacted customer service twice and was told there was a system glitch and that someone would follow up, but no one ever did. The lack of communication and poor customer service were extremely disappointing. Based on this experience, I can't recommend Custom Ink.

Super easy to upload my own design and have it shown on the various styles and colors of shirts. It made it very easy to get the shirt I was hoping for.

The most challenging part of the process was switching between shirt products. It seems like it should be easier to do. I recommend having your web developer attempt to place an order to see how many clicks and "start overs" you have to do to choose between shirt products. The customer service rep was terrific. We worked together on the chat feature. The only small issue is that the front pocket logo on the ladies v neck is a bit low. It's wearable but I should have asked that it be moved up a little. It's just hard to visualize on the screen. Bottom line is that there should be measurement guidelines for different neck lines - especially on ladies shirts because the standard design square provided on the screen isn't perfect for every neck line. I have experienced this before with other companies so it just seems to be one of these things where generally there is an unrecognized difference between mens and womens needs and the womens design defaults to what works for a more standard mens style shirt. It could also be a problem with v necks whether or not they are mens or womens.
