"My nephew Tyler has Apraxia which is a speech disorder. He is currently 6 years old and up until last year couldn't speak other than making noises. Apraxia is a condition where the muscles that you use to form words are not developed properly. Now he is a 6 year old who can speak, talk in sentences and is currently in 1st grade. Its through an AMAZING organization (Childhood Apraxia Speech Association) like this one that he was able to get the necessary therapies to develop coherent speaking abilities. To date, the local chapter has raised over $100,000!
