Supporting My Mom In Her Battle Against Brain Cancer

"My mom was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, grade 4, in November 2017. This aggressive brain cancer has no cure. She is now battling this deadly cancer, and I want to remind her that she is surrounded by love and support. I asked people to support this effort by wearing their shirt the weekend of March 3 & 4, then posting their photos or videos on social media for me to share with my mom. While I ordered some shirts to ensure we had a certain people involved, I opened it up as a fundraiser to support the American Brain Tumor Association. In the end, we had about 100 shirts purchased and shared with my mom over the weekend. The photo attached is a collage of people from across the US, in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Canada and the UK participating in this outpouring of love. In total, approximately $1600 was raised through the campaigns or donated directly to ABTA by people who wanted to support my mom and my family. It was amazing to see all these people from all walks of life showing my mother that she is not alone in her battle against brain cancer." - Robyn (Mar 06, 2018)
