The shirts were ordered for the Juvenile Diabetes "2011 Walk For a Cure". The walk was a 5k walk at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. Our team is made up of family and friends of Dylan Klovenski. Dylan is a seventeen year old boy that was diagnosed 3 1/2 years ago at the age of thirteen with Type 1 diabetes (better known as juvenile diabetes). Each year we compile a team together to help fight for the cure of this life-threatenting disease. We will be back next year to order our 2012 JDRF shirts and hopefully our team will grown larger. "This photograph was taken at the Get Your Rear In Gear Colon Cancer 5K in Castle Island, So. Boston. Family and friends from all over New England joined the team in honor of my Dad, Jeff. Jeff faced an untimely death at age 47, victim of stage IV colon cancer. Custom Ink made an emotionally difficult event enjoyable. They donated to our team's cause, helped us get the best price for our shirts, and went the extra step to ensure our satisfaction! We were among the 3,000 people that participated in the event, which raised almost $300,000 for Lung Cancer Research.
