Team Tony by Race for Hope, Philadelphia - almost 4 years ago
"Race for Hope, Philadelphia, is a 5 K run and walk that my family participates in every year. About 18 months ago, my dad was diagnosed with 2 meningioma brain tumors, with one wrapped around his optic nerve. After a scary few months of losing his vision and high dose radiation, he is finally starting to be able to cope and function like himself. He was able to run the entire 3.2 miles at the race and continues to be an inspiration to my entire family. "
TEAM STEVE - IN LOVING MEMORY OF OUR POPPY by TEAM STEVE - almost 4 years ago
"On October 24, 2010, our family participated in the NYC Walk to Beat Lung Cancer. This event is important to us because we lost our dad and poppy to this horrible disease. He was the last grandparent and only one to see 6 out of his 7 grandchildren. We love and miss him dearly. "

"On Sunday, October 24, 2010, my family and I particapted in the 4th Annual NYC Walk to Beat Lung Cancer in Battery Park sponsored by LUNGevity. This event is dear to us all since we lost our beloved dad, poppy and friend to this horrible disease in September 2008. The first year he walked walked with us and we continue to walk in his honor and memory and for all those who have battled, are battling and will battle lung cancer. We pray for a cure for the leading cancer killer!"

"This was taken at the Boston Derby Dames Roller Derby bout. My daughter Ivanna Shankabitch was proposed to during halftime and here she is with her dad who is proudly wearing his Fathers Day gift purchased from CustomInk. You did an amazing job, I wish you could see the front!! "Shank the Tank" - the crowds chant when she jams!!!"
