"I design a Team Elena tshirt every year for people to wear and support JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) in hopes of finding a cure. Through the purchase of these shirts, a person's support for me, as a Type 1 Diabetic, as well as diabetics everywhere, shines through and they are kind enought to donate time and money to this cause. I must thank CustomInk for being one of the kind groups to donate to Team Elena, every bit counts. These shirts are worn at the Walk to Cure Diabetes in the Elmira NY chapter at Elmira College. Our team (PUMPed Up Walkers) has participated in the walk for the past four years and we felt we needed to advertise our team better. "Our son, Will (2nd from right), was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 6. He has been successfully living with Type 1 diabetes for 3 1/2 years thanks to funding provided by Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to help find new treatments and technology. "On 9/29/12, our "Krewe" participated in the Walk to Cure Diabetes (Greensboro, NC) to raise money, awareness and support of the JDRF - Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Our ongoing goal for our 7 year old son Reece is to experience a cure for T1 Diabetes in his lifetime. Even though I designed our team t-shirt months ago...I didn't order them until a week before our event. CustomInk was extremely helpful and did a fantastic job of rushing our order through with a guaranteed delivery for a very reasonable charge. It was so worth it to have these quality t-shirts to share with our friends who came out to walk with us - in the rain! Our team t-shirt design won recognition for "Most Outstanding" in the T-Shirt contest! I was also pleasantly surprised when I was contacted by the CustomInk Charity Outreach Coordinator to make a donation to our cause - how cool is that?! That will go along way with me! "We were a team to walk in the "Walk to Cure Diabetes" on behalf of our little girl Mindy who has had Type 1 Diabetes since she was 7. This was our first JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) fundraiser for Mindy so we were excited to get t-shirts and do the whole shebang. The walk was cancelled due to weather so we went to breakfast instead and did an "Eat to Cure Diabetes". It was great fun to show off our matching shirts to everyone around! We had a great experience with CustomInk, the t-shirts are beautiful (really love that color!), and we really appreciated the donation to JDRF for our team."

"The event was the annual Juvenile Diabetes Reserach Foundataion "Walk to Cure Diabetes held this year On October 8th at the White Memorial Foundation, Litchfield, Ct. The teams captian is 13 year old Taylor Smart, hereself a juvenile diabetic, who organized the team several years ago. Customink, through thier extremely user friendly web site, offered an opportunity for Taylor to design here own shirts and specify that the be delivered in her favorite color. The shirts were delivered 1 week ahead of the promised date and were exactly as ordered."
