"Our daughter Haunnah who had Cerebral Palsy passed away 3/6/13. She was to participate in the Cincinnati Flying Pig "Pigabilities" 1 mile walk. This walk is geared towards individuals who disabled or mentally challenged. It gives them the ability to be part of The Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon weekend. Our family and friends decided to walk the Pigabilities for Haunnah in memory of Haunnah. It was amazing the support we had. HALF FOR HAUNNAH!!!"
"Team Bryson & Wyatt is made up of family and friends of Lavane & Lancer Vowell and Carrie & terry Rawlins. We both lost our premature infant sons, Wyatt and Bryson. Our Team walked in the 2013 March of Dimes March for Babies Walk to honor our precious boys and raise money to help other babies. Funds raised will help to save lives so that other parents would not have to experience the loss of a child.
The shirt design on the back was done in "subway" art style depicting words or phrases that applied to both babies, Wyatt & Bryson, their names, nicknames, birthdays, birth weights, etc. The colors stood out that day. We were one of the largest teams to walk and definately the brightest colored! We looked GREAT! We received a ton of compliments for others.

It was one the easiest things I have ever ordered (we had over 60 shirts from children sizes to adults). "On May 5, 2013 we gathered for the Walk Against Hunger in Hartford, CT. This is the fifth year the Muslims Against Hunger Team has taken part. We have over 150 walkers in our team alone and raised over $5000 this year for Foodshare. Foodshare provide food to Homeless shelters and educate the community about hunger in our start! "This is our Beat the Couch team in sunny Bermuda! We got 47 people off the couch and 5K fit in 10 weeks. The programme was designed for complete beginners who in week 1 found it hard to run for just 60 seconds. 10 weeks later, here they are! We had them "beat the couch" by getting off it, but also literally beat it around the course. We put our couch on wheels and our local running elite pushed it along the route :-)
This was an emotional journey for so many of our team who never believed they could do it, and yet found themselves crossing the line. We are unbelievably proud of each and every one.

"Our school recently had a "Relay Recess" event and raised over $38,000.00 for The American Cancer Society. Our school-wide relay theme was "It Takes a Team to Save a Life" and each grade level represented a certain sport. First Grade chose basketball and we worked very hard to raise money for The American Cancer Society. Nobody knew what I had planned, so I had the team do pregame warm up in their traditional red and black uniforms.
