"Hinesburg VT's JDRF walk. Connor Sargeant (13 yr old team captain with Type 1 Diabetes) brought our team over from New York when our local walk was cancelled. Nothing can stop us from finding a cure. Connor and his team work by fundraising themselves and volunteering as advocates to work with our Congressmen and Senators to secure funding for research for a cure. We donate as much as we can because 80% of every dollar goes directly back to research. it can happen because of all these great volunteers.
