""Camp Mays" is a special education teacher's effort to provide children with severe autism with the opportunity to experience fun, "typical" summer adventures while giving their parents a break from the constant stress of caring for their child 24/7 during the summer break. My awesome volunteers and I take my students on several day trips during each summer at no charge to their families. Camp Mays is funded through donations from my family and friends and supported by discounts and donations from local businesses."
"Our K9 SAR group is a group volunteers who got together to help train our dogs. We are all in the medical field. We have a Team Captain, a dental hygenist, an EMT, an RN, a Flight Nurse, and a Surgeon - that's why the MASH logo! CustomInk made these and some long sleeve shirts for us! MANRRS volunteered to help with Kids Tech University which was sponsored by 4-H and Virginia State University Cooperative Extension. There was 100 young students present from 9-16 years old. "85 students and staff from Plymouth-Canton Educational Park went to Cedar Point wearing CustomInk t-shirts designed by us! General Education students at the high school volunteer to work with students with special needs and accompany them to Cedar Point each May to practice socialization and communication skills. All students have a blast enjoying all the rides with their peers. It's a great experience for everyone involved and the highlight of our year. The bright colors and the fact that CustomInk used exactly what we had designed will bring us back next year!"
