We walked around the park, wearing our beautiful Custom Ink T-Shirts with pride knowing that together, we helped support Alzheimer's research and can move toward a world Alzheimer's-free!" - http://walktoendalz.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=460931&lis=1&kntae460931=B1662C10F3A944B8ACC721A9999F62D9&supId=331350645&emaillogid=4884162995 - Team Rose (Oct 05, 2011) Similar Photos: charity | queens | participant teams | grandmother | mother | flushing meadows park | 93rd birthday | walk to end alzheimer's Share this photo: Twitter Facebook comment by Guest - Apr 29, 2012 - back to the top It is sad Mary Anne and very hard on family mmbrees not to mention costly if they need to go into a nursing home at some point. It's been around a long time but maybe you heard it called dementia? I sure hope too they find a cure or better treatment for this horrific disease. With the huge population of baby boomers in our country it's going to be very costly in the future taking care of all those that do get this disease.
