"About one year ago, my young son Evan was diagnosed with autism. It's life-changing news, and it affects 1 in every 110 children -- 1 in 70 for boys. Autism Speaks was the organization that was most helpful to our family during those early months of confusion, frustration, disappointment, and learning to navigate a whole new world. On November 6, a team of family and friends walked in the National Walk Now for Autism Speaks to raise money to help other families in the same way that we were helped. The fundraising was important, but the lesson we learned in the process was that we are not as alone as we sometimes feel in facing this disorder. CustomInk helped make us feel like a team, in shirts that our joyful, smart young man (who just so happens to have autism) helped to design. I am grateful for the support I have been blessed to receive, and thankful that CustomInk made it a fun, affordable process." - Evan's Avengers (Nov 11, 2010)
