"Our team, the Pink Princesses, participated in the 2 day, 39.3 mile Avon39-The Walk to End Breast Cancer in Washington, D.C. on May 6-7, 2017. As a team, we walked in the rain, wind, mud and sunshine and raised over $26,000! Not only did we walk in honor of one of our own teammates, we walked in honor and in the memory of countless others that have battled this horrific disease. As Avon39 says, blisters are temporary; fierce is forever!
