"Our 2-year old was diagnosed with leukemia on January 2. The chemo and steroids have altered his appearance and sometimes we felt like "just another patient" while in the hospital. So we are wearing our boy's pre-chemo face across our chests to remind everyone that there is a healthy, happy little boy under this condition. Our friends and family across the county are also wearing their Team Nico shirts on his treatment days to show their support and Nico loves to see the pictures of them wearing "Nico's shirt."
