About this campaign
This fundraiser is to help send Jacob Betham to the 2026 Little League Asia Pacific Tournament in Seoul, Korea in June 2026. Proceeds will be used to help cover the costs of travel, uniform, gear, and tournament fees. Of all the international teams in the tournament, American Samoa's team will be traveling the furthest. This will be their second appearance at the tournament and will provide an incredible opportunity to showcase their skills against international competition.
Last year, Jacob and his team became the first to represent American Samoa in the Little League Asia Pacific Tournament competing in the Majors Divison. The eventual Little League World Series Champions (Chinese Taipei) came from that tournament. This year, Jacob and his team are returning to Korea to proudly represent American Samoa in the Junior Division. Longer pitching distance, 90-foot diamond, more advanced competition!
Although this shirt was created to help raise funds for Jacob's trip to Korea, the design is not limited to baseball. It is meant to be worn by anyone who believes in keeping God at the center of life. The phrase reflects a core part of Samoan culture and Christian faith: teaching our children to put God first in everything they do — in family, school, sports, service, and life. It is a short message, but a strong one. Before the game, before the goal, before the journey: God First.
