About this campaign
Marine scientists and ocean advocates know that saving the planet requires passion, joy, and a legendary soundtrack. Pacific leatherbacks have been navigating our oceans for over 100 million years, but today, Western Pacific populations face critical threats.
To celebrate Pacific Leatherback Conservation Day on October 15th, we are dropping a limited-edition shirt featuring a custom Grateful Dead-inspired design. Because protecting ancient ocean giants and enjoying good grooves go hand in hand!
Every shirt purchased directly funds critical marine conservation efforts, habitat protection, and our future scientists doing this great work.
About the artist, Raschelli Linz: I'm a PhD candidate in Dr. Sarah Milton's lab at Florida Atlantic University and my dissertation focuses on biomarkers of stress and contaminant exposure in Florida's nesting leatherbacks. In my spare time (what little I have), I am a multimedia artist using media from digital art to block printing to oil painting. My work often features the turtles that I study.
