Big John was a reminder for me that even though I love working with draft horses that when they are done with work and retire, I should always keep my retirees and keep them well. Him and his love was the most beautiful hors love story for the ages.

I am a supporter of Colby’s Rescue and Johnny was one of the reasons. I had never thought of the abuse draft horses endure and to save them sounded wonderful! Big John was a beautiful example of that compassion. He will never be forgotten.
CCR is rescue done right everytime for all equines no matter their condition because they all matter.
