About this campaign
Purchase a Cesarean Awareness Month T-Shirt and proudly tell your family, friends, and clients that you're a safe person to talk with about their childbirth experience. The International Cesarean Awareness Network founded Cesarean Awareness Month to spread awareness about the impacts C-Sections have on birthing people. There are 18.5 million C-Sections every year, and ICAN exists to support, educate, and advocate for these birthing people. This year, we acknowledge the healing power of storytelling in recovering from birth trauma, obstetric abuse, and surgical birth.

This organization helped me understand I was far from alone with my cesarean experience. It has also shown me how to be empowered with knowledge necessary to stand up for myself and my children, in many aspects above and beyond birthing decisions.
