About this campaign
The Grumman Owners and Pilots Association (GOPA) Scholarship Fund, formerly known as (AKA) the (American Yankee Association) supports youth in aviation. It provides scholarships in the USA and Internationally up to $2500USD for students age 16-22 who are studying for their Private Pilot’s License/Certificate. It is supported by GOPA members and corporate friends and since 2003 they have provided over $93,000 to help more than 50 young aviators take flight.

I initiated the use of the AOPA High School Aviation STEM Curriculum at the Boyceville H.S. in Boyceville, WI. I am also a Mentor Pilot (and a financial donator) for the STEM Flights Organization.
