About this campaign
Buy a shirt to show your support for kids with complex medical needs! All funds raised will support the work of the Little Lobbyists on Capitol Hill.
Little Lobbyists is a family advocacy group that seeks to protect and expand the rights of children with complex medical needs through advocacy, education, and outreach. For the last several months, we have been visiting Capitol Hill to make the voices of families like ours heard. Our goal, in light of the ongoing healthcare debate, is to bring attention to the medical needs of children with complex medical needs ours by making a visible impact and showing up in-person so legislators and their staff can see our kids and their trachs, ventilators, oxygen tanks, feeding tubes, wheelchairs, and more. But more importantly, we want people to understand that our kids are real kids who go to school and love to play, who are funny and kind and mischievous and amazing, and who deserve access to healthcare. We have been meeting with legislators and sharing with them stories of kids from all over the country. In those meetings, we have been able to help them better understand the needs of children like ours and how proposed legislation would affect them.

I greatly admire the way these families have held things together and given their children lives as normal as possible. I don't want any of them to suffer because greed now rules this country.
I love my work and want to continue to make a difference in the lives of others.
I think parents of sick children have enough to worry about. Kids should be treated no matter what, money should not be a factor in the equation.
In the 3rd grade, my older brother (who was in 4th grade) became friends with a student who lives with complex medical needs. He was bullied, as was she. Since that time I have lived passionately advocating for inclusion. Thank you for your work <3
