Help Fight the Fire: Northern California Fire Disaster Relief

“We have had big fires in the past. This is one of the biggest, most serious, and it’s not over,” California Gov. Jerry Brown said this Wednesday of the Northern California wildfires.

On Monday a swarm of wildfires began raging through Napa, Sonoma, Medocino and surrounding counties in Northern California; the fires began in the middle of the night and nearly 10,000 firefighters are still working to contain them. Entire communities have been destroyed, businesses have been overrun, and thousands have been displaced from their homes.

As of Friday the 13th, 31 are confirmed dead, hundreds are missing, 220,000 acres of land have been destroyed, and 17 fires still burning, making this is the deadliest week of wildfires in California history.
