About this campaign
The Miles4Hips 2nd Annual Day of Movement is October 10, 2020!
Whether you’re a patient, a caregiver, a friend, a researcher, or a medical provider, we hope you will join us in building community, raising awareness, and supporting the efforts of the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
Buy a tee shirt or face mask and then wear it on 10/10/20 while you go for a hike, go for a run, push a stroller, roll in a wheelchair, get on a bike, have a dance party, do some gardening, or do some therapy exercises. Every movement counts!!!
Last year we had nearly 400 participants from around the world and raised over $7400 for the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. This year, can we do even more???
Supporters
I am a hip dysplasia patient.
To continue to raise awareness and fund research to make changes to protocols and earlier diagnosis.
I am supporting because I have bilateral hip dysplasia, and had a PAO and labral repair in May 2018, and another labral repair in November 2019.
I was diagnosed with hip dysplasia in January and just had a PAO surgery on my right hip in July.
I have hip dysplasia and have had 6 surgeries! I’m happy to help bring awareness to hip dysplasia!
I have bilateral hip dysplasia and just had my first PAO a couple months ago. Excited to support the awesome work Miles4Hips and the International Hip Dysplasia Institute are doing!
I support this campaign because I am an individual who has hip dysplasia. I wasn't diagnosed until 13 and I want to support a cause to help raise awareness.
All 3 of my kids found out they have hip dysplasia in there late teens/ early 20’s. One bilateral PAO, one on the fence regarding surgery and one managing discomfort. I would love to see the day when there was better screening in children!
My best friend has hip dysplasia.
