About this campaign
I am saddened to pass on the news that my friend David left the planet this morning, March 3. Thank you to everyone who purchased a tee and donated to the fundraiser. It will help his girls — his wife Joanie and his daughter Rosanne — not have to think about money at this sad time. Bills are still pouring in and there will of course be final expenses. I thought of turning this off but have been encouraged to keep it going for his girls, so I will.

David's music has always brought me joy. I'm sad to hear of his passing and will have good thoughts for his wife and daughter.

David was a hero on every level, musical and personal. SO deeply sorry we lost him. Hope Joanie and Rosanne are doing as well as possible under these tragic circumstances. I know he cared so much for both of you.

Loved David Lindley’s music since the mid 70s. What an original! Never new what a lap slide was until he showed the world what an awesome sound that instrument can make. His solos on “Running on Empty” thrill me every time hear them. RIP Mr. Dave…
